Lush is the only bakery offering a range of alcohol-infused cupcakes in a jar. While this concept is unique Lush is much more—it's Ahhh-mazing cake! Founded in 2010 as Crav Alcohol Infused Desserts, Nichole was inspired while overseeing desserts for a Cinco de Mayo party. When the dean denied margarita requests, she creatively infused her cupcakes with margarita ingredients, delighting everyone, including the amused dean. Encouraged by staff, Nichole initially thought starting a cupcake business was crazy. After being laid off, she opened her shop in Wichita, Kansas, where it thrived, becoming a way to secure her family’s future as a single mother and Air Force member.
